5 new restaurants to try this August

There’s no shortage of outstanding places to eat in Sydney, that’s for certain! But, if you are crunched for time and on the hunt for fun, flavour, creativity and a world-class culinary experience at some of the upcoming bangers (restaurants) in Sydney, keep reading.

I have been seeing venues like the lavish French Manon Brasserie, the sophisticated Blackwood Bondi venue, the team over at Aalia, Whalebridge and the seasonally-driven menu flaunted across Locale in Bronte, all pop up across my feed and I cannot wait to try every single one of them.

Manon Brasserie

Based in the heart of the city at the glitzy QVB, is French Manon Brasserie. The perfect French restaurant you need to try in Sydney, especially if you are into indulging in delectable food in a prime people-watching vibey corner, just how you would imagine it to be in Paris.

With a menu centred around the classic French dishes like traditional pastries, baguettes, snail meurette, and both croques madame et monsieur taking centre stage, there is also a glamourous raw bar which includes everything fresh from oysters to caviar.

Visitors can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at this *boujee* new venue, the perfect eat-out session if you are wanting something truly sophisticated, appetising and French.

Founders of Cronulla’s famous brunch joint Blackwood Pantry, Daniel Sorridimi, Rob Lechowicz and Paul Pisani have done it again with Bondi’s hottest new venue smack bang across the road from the beach.

From their staple, all-day breakfast and lunch menus including Moreton Bay bug Sandos, chargrilled split prawns, poke bowls, and their epic “Green Goddess” salad to their sundown beverages like the Negronis and spritz, the whole vibe, seasonal menu and live music once the sunset hits – is the perfect combination for an epic dining out session for Sydney-siders.
